Happy to share that Jiayue Yang have received a Healthy Brain Healthy Lives fellowship for 2024-2025. Congratulations!We are pleased to announce that the SSBM lab has been awarded with the Big Brain Theory program - call 2024 (BBT4) in collaboration with Julia Sliwa from Paris Brain Institute and with Roberto Tojo and Katja Heur from Institut Pasteur. Our collaboration aims at exploring the neurodevelopment and brain tracjectories of social cognition in both marmosets and macaques.
We are pleased to announce that I am been awared a FRQS salary award (Junior 1) as well as a launch supplement as young investigator. Thank you FRQ for your support!Today it was potluck time to celebrate the 2 years of the lab. Great lab, great food, great ambiance!Our application to a CFI-Jelf has been funded. This will allow to equip the SSBM lab properly and do amazing research!
Constance Dollet is our new research assistant. She came from Dr. Erika Sasaki's lab and has a strong expertise on marmoset research. She will help us with the ITN/TRIDENT project but also continue ongoing research on marmoset vocalization. Welcome Constance!
Hildelith Leyser joined the SSBM lab in September 2023 to conduct her PhD research. She is interested in embodiement and multisensory process. Welcome Hildie!
Our application for the ICM-The Neuro joint collaborative proposal has been selected and awarded, we are pleased to start this collaboration with Dr. Julia Sliwa from the Paris Brain Institute to perform cross-species comparison between marmoset and macaques social cognition.
